Junior Strong/Middle Manual QA Engineer

Blackthorn Vision is looking for a Middle General QA Engineer. Our client, established in 2011 and based in Colorado, is a leading player in the U.S. application management market. We’ve had a successful partnership with this client and are seeking candidates who are eager to take ownership and improve a product already trusted by over 6,000 enterprises. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in QA within Agile development teams. Proven expertise in test planning, execution of functional and non-functional test cases, and defect reporting. Strong ability to translate business requirements into test specifications, including preparation of edge cases and comprehensive test coverage. Hands-on experience testing both web and desktop applications. Proficiency in using virtual machines for software testing environments. Solid knowledge of browser developer tools (e.g., Console, Network, Application tabs). Practical experience with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking. Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman for API testing. Basic understanding of databases (querying and validation). Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Strong product-oriented mindset with attention to user value and business impact. Excellent team communication and collaboration skills. Upper-intermediate English level. Nice to Have: Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). Responsibilities: Develop and execute various types of test cases, and work with different types of testing. Creation and maintenance of the testing documentation, Performing backend tests (work with API, DBs, Logs); Analyze and report test results, track defects, and participate in other daily QA routines. Communicate with team members.
